
Stephanie has just entered her 7th decade and is thrilled because seven is a lucky number for her. She has seven beautiful adult children who have been a source of joy from their infancy. In her life so far, she has undertaken a variety of careers in addition to that of mother and homemaker. She has been a stay-at-home mum, volunteer, Avon lady, receptionist, adult university student, University tutor of English and Geography, a coordinator of a bridging course for women seeking to enter university without completing high school and a town planner.
In her career as a town planner she had her own planning consultancy and worked for several councils and corporate planning consultancies. In these roles, she wrote and researched a variety of topics, and gained skills that now enhance her writing and proofreading activities. Stephanie retired from full time paid employment in 2011.
She aims to write or research something every day.
Her writing To Do List has about ten projects on it and she is excited to think that she’ll be writing for a long, long time to come.
She loves listening to music, gardening, reading and collating stories about the family. She enjoys editing other people’s work and loves her role as a Beta reader.
