Becky loves the ocean and dreams of writing and travelling the world - preferably at the same time. She is multi-talented and enjoys a variety of creative outlets.
_______
Self-described as socially anxious, shy introvert with intermittent depression. Books are a safe haven, a refuge and writing helps take the edge off things, helping to process emotions and hopefully tell a good story of overcoming adversity at the same time.
I truly believe that words have incredible power and, through faith-filled fiction, I hope to spread good messages and morals in an engaging way. I feel very strongly about the difficulties that this world faces and I use my writing as a form of activism as it is the easiest form of communication for a socially, shy anxious introvert such as myself.
If the novels I write can help even one person face their challenges with a little more grace then that's what matters most.

I also enjoy drawing. Nature is of particular importance to me because it is a constant reminder that all things in life is in a constant state of flux. Nothing and no one is ever exactly the same with each passing moment. We all go through metaphorical periods of birth, death and rebirth, in how we grow and progress and/or stagnate and remain the same.
My favourite three designs are the butterfly, autumn leaf and the snowflake.
Butterflies are a symbol of freedom. A caterpillar enters chrysalis, and goes through a period of transformation into a butterfly. Butterflies are free to fly, whereas the caterpillar is confined to the earth.
Autumn leaves are a symbol of change. The golden red hues are beautiful and slowly the leaves fall to the earth leaving a barren tree. There is a process that is unseen. As with the leaves decomposing and nourishing the soil, changes in our lives, particularly the ones that seem to be empty or negative, are actually nourishing us so we can begin again with renewed vigour.
Snowflakes are cold, but when seen under a microscope, they are very beautiful. Change and growth is often painful. It leaves us feeling cold and alone at times, but, if we come out the other side stronger, that pain is a wonderfully beautiful process that shaped and moulded us into who we are now.
Hannah dreams of writing and travelling the world - preferably both at the same time. She is multi-talented and shares some of her passions with us on her author page.
